Sampung taon.

Iba’t ibang lider, iba’t ibang panahon.

Small Contributions Lead to a Bigger Purpose

You guys can be an instrument of change, the small contributions, just by showing up. Those things can really contribute to the bigger purpose that we have here in Habitat.

When Housing Hits Home: Building Beyond Myself

I joined HFH BC thinking it would just be a fun way to shake up a boring academic routine, but it ended up completely changing who I am.

Constantly engaging with our community partners and building real relationships with them brought back memories of growing up in Isabela, a province routinely battered by typhoons. Remembering what it felt like to rely on stable shelter during those storms made the urgency of safe, affordable housing hit way closer to home.

That realization shifted something deep inside me. I began to see how my own actions could actually show up for others and help prevent families from facing that same vulnerability on a larger scale.

And while it frightens me sometimes to see how radically this organization has reshaped my life and priorities, I remain a completely willing accomplice.

After all, what a beautiful menace HFH BC has been for teaching me that I had something to offer far beyond myself.
